FCPS Graduation Schedule

Wednesday May 19

  • 10 a.m. – Henry Clay
  • 2 p.m. – Frederick Douglass
  • 6 p.m. – Tates Creek

Thursday May 20

  • 10 a.m. – Lafayette
  • 2 p.m. – Bryan Station
  • 6 p.m. – Paul Laurence Dunbar

When will doors be open to Rupp Arena?

Doors will open 1 hour before scheduled ceremony time. Door time and ceremony time will be listed on your ticket.

Do I have to wear a mask?

YES! Masks and social distancing will be enforced for the health and safety of all attendees.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in the High Street Parking Lot across from Rupp Arena. Graduates with a cap and gown are free, others will pay $5 per vehicle.

Where do I get tickets for graduation?

Each Graduate will be allotted 4 tickets, which are obtained from the graduating senior's High School. Rupp Arena does not control ticketing for High School Graduation.

We have 5 people that want to attend graduation, can we bring an extra person?

No, each Graduate will receive 4 tickets that have an assigned seating area. The maximum per Graduate is 4.

May I bring my bag into Rupp Arena?

All bags must be clear and no bigger than 12”X12”X6”. Clutches are allowed, but must be smaller than 4.5” x 6.5”.

Do you have wheelchairs available?

Rupp Arena does not provide wheelchairs. If someone attending a graduation ceremony is in need, please plan ahead and bring wheelchair or assisted mobility device.

Will concessions be open? Can I bring in outside food or beverage?

Yes, limited concessions will be available. No outside food or beverage is allowed in Rupp Arena.

Where can I meet up with my Graduate after the ceremony?

The Arena will be cleared after every ceremony. Guests and Graduates will need to clear building quickly to allow for the next ceremony. Graduates and Guests are encouraged to meet in the parking lot across from Rupp Arena or at a designated location away from Rupp Arena.

Can I bring balloons or signs into Rupp Arena?

 No. Balloons are not allowed and no signs are permitted.

May I bring a camera?

Yes, but all photography must take place from assigned, ticketed seat. No selfie sticks or tripods.

I have a family member that can’t attend Graduation. Will the Graduation ceremonies be streamed?

Yes. Ceremonies will be livestreamed via the YouTube channel #FCPSKY.

I lost my tickets to Graduation, what do I do?

Once tickets are given to the Graduate and their guests, it’s the responsibility of the Graduate and Guests to keep track of tickets. No tickets will be re-issued. We strongly suggest tickets are placed in a safe, secure location until day of Graduation.
