
Our Guest Services representatives are professionally trained to provide assistance and have an understanding of how to accommodate your needs and provide general information.
These services can be obtained by contacting a Guest Services representative. The Guest Services Station is open a minimum of one hour prior to the start of the event and will remain open through the conclusion of every event. This service is located at the Main Entrance of Rupp Arena.
There are three automated teller machines (ATMs) for your convenience, located in and around Rupp Arena.
Arena Lobby: Located off High Street
Whitaker Bank Concourse: Across from Section 11
Shops at Lexington Center: 1st floor, near Food Court
No alcohol may be brought into Rupp Arena. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased inside the arena at most events. All persons must be age 21 or older and provide legal identification to purchase alcoholic beverages. Alcohol purchases are limited to two (2) beverages per buyer for most events. Management has the right to refuse service at any time. Alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the discretion of Rupp Arena management.
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the building but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. If you intend to bring a service animal to the building, please notify your ticket representative at the time of purchase so that an aisle seat may be reserved for you.
Rupp Arena has a no banner policy. Small signs are allowed (poster board size), but larger signs mounted on sticks or poles are not. Signs may not be hung or fastened anywhere in the arena. Small signs should not be commercial or obscene in nature, or cause any disturbance with other fans. Rupp Arena reserves the right to remove any banner or sign without exception.
Professional cameras are prohibited at most events in Rupp Arena unless accompanied by appropriate media credentials. Cameras without a flash may be allowed for some events. Cameras with lenses that are 3 or more inches in length are NOT allowed. Video cameras and audio recorders are prohibited in Rupp Arena unless specifically approved by artist management. Please check in advance on the event listing on the website.
Restrictions on the use of still and video cameras vary by event. The event producer determines this policy. Some sporting events permit still cameras without flash, but not recording devices. Concerts typically do not permit any professional cameras or recording devices (audio or video). Do not ask for a patch in the mixing board for recordings. They are NEVER allowed. Guests should check the events listing on the website to find out the policy prior to the event.
Rupp Arena offers a drop-off and pick-up area on High Street/South Side of Rupp Arena. Limousines, buses and cars will be allowed to drop-off and pick-up in this area, but no vehicles will be permitted to park there.
Rupp Arena is committed to providing the highest standard of safety for our visitors and employees. Emergency response procedures have been developed to address an emergency or crisis that might arise at Rupp Arena or surrounding areas that might affect the arena operation. In the case of an emergency, please proceed to the nearest exit and out to street level.
Rupp Arena personnel have been trained to assist in emergency situations. Visual and audible alarms are located throughout the building for use in the event of an emergency.
Certified medical professionals are available at our First Aid station during most events to assist guests with medical needs. Guests in need of emergency first aid should contact the nearest Rupp Arena employee for assistance.
The primary First Aid station is located on the main concourse near section 34.
Rupp Arena offers a variety of food and beverages throughout the facility. Guests are not permitted to bring any food or beverages into the Rupp Arena. Containers such as bottles, cans, thermos bottles, or plastic coolers are not permitted for the safety and protection of our guests.
Rupp Arena is committed to providing an enjoyable family atmosphere. In order to maintain an enjoyable and safe environment, we request that all guests be courteous to those around them and abide by all building policies and regulations. Guests using foul language or appearing intoxicated will be ejected from the arena. Guest will refrain from sitting or standing in aisles or fire lanes. Guests wearing obscene or indecent clothing will be denied entry. Shirts must be worn at all times. Guests who engage in inappropriate behavior will be removed from the building.
Lost children/parents should be escorted to the guest services desk located at the main entrance into the arena to notify arena security. Arena security will arrange assistance in locating their group.
If you lose or find an item during an event, please proceed to Guest Services located at the Service Desk for assistance. Our lost and found department is open 24 hours a day and can be reached at (859) 233-4567 ext. 3002. Rupp Arena is not responsible for lost items. Found items are held for a 30 days.
The selling or sampling of food & beverages and selling or distribution of merchandise, tickets or other items on Lexington Center property without written authorization is strictly prohibited.
For safety reasons, patrons may be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items including, but not limited to: alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, food, drinks, glass/plastic/metal containers, video recorders, audio recorders, fireworks, laser pointers, backpacks, stadium seats, coolers, knives, weapons of any type, baby seats or carriers, unauthorized noise makers, glitter, confetti, Frisbees, streamers, helium balloons, beach balls, parcels or packages, inflatable items, silly string, or large bags of any kind. Cameras with lenses that are 3 or more inches in length are not allowed. The guest must throw the prohibited item in the trash or return the item to their vehicle. Rupp Arena reserves the right to confiscate any prohibited items and/or escort the guest from the building.
Patrons & guests are subject to search prior to entry into Rupp Arena.
Re-entry is generally prohibited, however, under certain circumstances (such as emergency medical reasons) re-entry is allowed. Please visit Guest Services located at the service desk before exiting the building if you require re-entry.
Restrooms are located throughout Rupp Arena for your convenience. All restrooms meet ADA specifications. Men's, Women's and 4 Unisex Family restrooms are located on the main level of each concourse.
Family Restrooms for guests with children, are located next to the Women's restrooms near Sections 13 & 31.
Baby Changing Facilities Baby change facilities are located in Men and Women's restrooms located near Sections 12, 16, 17, 22, 23, 28, 29, 213, 231
As per City Ordinance 14.97, Rupp Arena is a non-smoking facility. Rupp Arena has arranged to permit smokers to exit the building to a designated area outside where smoking is permitted and re-enter with a valid ticket. Access to this space is directly across from Section 28 or Section 34. Access to this area will be monitored to ensure the integrity of the space and compliance to all stipulations of the City Ordinance. Please note, this area is not covered and subject to all outdoor weather conditions.
Access to this area will open for all events beginning one hour prior to the scheduled performance time (except UK basketball games and larger arena events) and remain open throughout the conclusion of the event. As this area is a designated entrance for UK basketball games and some major arena events, access to this area will open beginning thirty minutes after the scheduled start time of the event and remain open throughout the remainder of the event.
The resale of Rupp Arena admission tickets is strictly prohibited within a 2 block radius of Rupp Arena (City ordinance no. 198-83, 1,10-20-83).
