Ticket Information

The Lexington Center Ticket Office handles ticket sales for most events held at Rupp Arena, the Lexington Opera House and some public ticketed events held in the Lexington Convention Center. (Please note University of Kentucky Basketball is handled by UK Athletics located on the university’s campus.)

Buyer Beware

With the rise in the number of "secondary ticket agencies / scalpers", we have experienced an increase in the number of invalid tickets being presented at our entrance gates. The ONLY authorized ticket sales agents for Rupp Arena are:

• Lexington Center Ticket Office
Ticketmaster Outlets
Ticketmaster Charge-by-phone

Rupp Arena is not able to honor, replace or refund invalid tickets. Invalid tickets must be confiscated by the Lexington Center Ticket Office. A copy of the tickets, which may be used to alert the point of purchase, will be provided at the customer's request.

Customers with invalid tickets are welcome to purchase valid tickets at the Lexington Center Ticket Office - seating location and price based upon availability.

During daily operation, the Lexington Center Ticket Office is located just inside the High Street entrance of The Shops at Lexington Center, between the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Rupp Arena.

During Rupp Arena events, the Ticket Office utilizes the outside ticket windows located on the High Street concourse beginning 2 hours prior to the event’s show time. (1½ hours prior for UK basketball games.)

During Lexington Opera House events our ticket office will open inside the Short Street entrance of the Opera House beginning 1½ hours prior to show time.

For certain Heritage Hall events, the ticket office is located on Level 1of the Shops at Lexington Center near the entrance to Heritage Hall and/or at the main entrance itself on the west end of Heritage Hall.

Lexington Center Ticket Office accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. (Valid photo ID is required with all credit card payments.)

Contact Jana Hatton; Group Sales Manager at (859) 233-4567 ext.3292 or [email protected] for information on group offers and opportunities.

The Ticketmaster kiosks are located inside the High Street rotunda at the Shops of Lexington Center. The kiosks can be used to purchase tickets or print will call ordered through Ticketmaster for most of our upcoming events held at Rupp Arena and the Lexington Opera House. A credit card is the only acceptable method of payment at the kiosks and the original purchasing credit card is required to print Ticketmaster’s Will Call. (Please note-these kiosks only handle events at Rupp Arena and the Lexington Opera House and Will Call is only available the day of the event.)

Patrons picking up tickets from Will Call must present the credit card used to purchase as well as photo ID for the person picking up the tickets. Tickets will not be released unless they are picked up by the purchasing patron or a pre-arranged alternate that was approved by the ticket office management. Will Call lines can get long close to show time. The following steps will help expedite the process…

  1. Arrive early. Event windows open 2 hours prior to show time for Arena events (1 ½ hours prior for UK basketball and Lexington Opera House events.)

  2. Have photo ID and the credit card used to purchase ready prior to getting to the window.

  3. If you ordered through Ticketmaster’s website feel free to use the kiosks in the rotunda. (Purchasing credit card is required.)

  4. During arena concerts and family events the sales windows can also print Will Call, so if Will Call has a long line feel free to visit a ticket seller to pick up your tickets.

Accessible seating is available for purchase through the Lexington Center Ticket Office or through Ticketmaster. We highly recommend patrons contact our ticket office directly (859) 233-3535, as our staff is more intimately knowledgeable about our facilities and we feel they would provide the best service for our patrons with accessible seating needs. Visit our accessible steating page for details on interpretive services, wheelchair space locations and guide animales.

  • Cancelled Events – If an event is cancelled and you purchased tickets through either Ticketmaster’s phone room or their website, you won’t need to do a thing. They will inform you of the cancellation and refund the amount you paid for your tickets, including all fees on the same payment method used for purchase.

If you purchased tickets at either a Ticketmaster outlet or in person at the Rupp Arena Ticket Office either in person or through their phone room, you will need to return to the point of purchase with your tickets and they will refund you directly. Again, your refund will include both the face value of the ticket and the corresponding service fees, if any.

  • Rescheduled Events – If your event was rescheduled, we’ll contact you with the new date and time ASAP. Can’t make it? The decision to issue refunds for rescheduled/postponed events is up to the individual artist, team or promoter, but we’ll do everything we can to help! Just contact us.

  • Replacement Tickets – If your tickets are lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed or not received, please let us help. Just contact us.

  • Refunds and Exchanges – The standard policy for our venues as well as most artists and promoters is “No Refunds or Exchanges.” However, if something comes up prior to the event’s show time, we’ll do everything we can to help, but there are no guarantees. Please contact us.

Service/convenience fees are charged to all online, phone and outlet orders on a per ticket basis. These fees cover the costs that allow Ticketmaster and Lexington Center to provide a wide range of purchasing options for ticket buyers. Fees vary by event and ticket pricing. Purchasing tickets in person at the Lexington Center Ticket Office is the only way to avoid service fees.
